Did you know the Easter Island heads have bodies?
Yup it’s true. And some are as tall as 10 meters (33ft)! The Moai have overly large heads (3/5 the size of their bodies), and because of photographs taken in the 50’s of the slopes of Rano Raraku (where the statues are buried to their shoulders) many (including me) are lead to believe that they are only heads!

Hi, I'm Jacob. Call me that, Jake, or Podgy (has to do with my last name). But yeah. I love Doctor Who, Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Big Bang Theory, and a bunch of other nerdy stuff. I hate Star Trek though, just hate it >.> My friends are awesome to me and so is my girlfriend. :D Also, I'm a huge music fanatic. I'm in marching band, orchestra, and jazz band at my school. Hockey is my absolute favorite sport (soccer being second). I love the Detroit Red Wings and I always will. Anyways, time to nerd it up.
